Realtor Injured Neck Resulting in Lost Commissions ($99,000)

A 39 year old self-employed Realtor was involved in a motor vehicle collision when another driver turned in front of her vehicle, causing a collision which flipped her vehicle onto its roof. She suffered injuries to her neck and low back, including a non-surgical herniated disc in her neck.

She had a delay in getting her realty business off the ground as a result of her injuries. Denise Fullerton obtained for her client $20,000 in medical expense and $20,000 in wage loss PIP benefits, $29,000 of the $30,000 policy limits from the defendant’s insurance company, plus $30,000 in underinsured motorist benefits from her client’s own policy, for a total of $99,000.
