Drunk Driver Injures Passenger when Hitting Light Pole ($80,000)
A 43 year old woman was injured as a passenger in a vehicle driven by an intoxicated acquaintance who lost control of the vehicle and struck a light pole. She suffered soft tissue injuries to her neck and back, aggravation to a previous knee injury, headaches, and slight scarring at her hairline. All of her medical expenses were paid by the defendant’s insurance company, who also paid $80,000 in settlement of her injury claim.
